Born in Granger, Washington, raised in Delano, Monty retired from Southern Oregon University in 2007. Monty was living in Portland, Oregon at time of death.
Beloved husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, coach, poet and friend. Monty will always be remembered for his warrior spirit and compassionate heart.

Monty
Wonderful friend, co-worker, boss and mentor. Even though we hadn't seen each other for several years when we did visit with each other two years ago it was as if we had only been apart for a few days. Monty made everything feel comfortable. Thank you for being a part of my life. I will miss you my friend.
