DIANE "GRAMI" LOUISE GOLLEDGE

October 13, 1939 – August 23, 2025

Diane Louise Golledge, known to all as Grami, aged 85, passed away on August 23, 2025, in Bakersfield, CA. Born on October 13, 1939, Diane dedicated many years as the Cafeteria Manager at Bill Williams Elementary, where she continued to work until her retirement.

Diane was a loving mother and is survived by her daughters, Kristi Garcia and Kathryn Covey; her son, Steve Golledge; sons-in-law, Henry Garcia and Ray Covey; and her cherished grandchildren, Vicki, Cody, Helen, Hannah, Ty, and Brandy, as well as six great-grandchildren. Her life was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Church, her sister, Katherine Church, and her brother, Dennis Church and husband Richard Golledge.

Diane had a zest for life, enjoying hobbies such as playing keno, sipping Mai Tais, crocheting, and playing Mexican train. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories.

A Viewing for Diane will be available Thursday, September 4th between 4 PM and 8 PM at Greenlawn Southwest.

A service to honor Diane's life will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Friday, September 5th, starting with a Rosary at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM. A graveside burial at Greenlawn Southwest will follow the mass, with a reception afterward at Legends Lounge & Event Center.

Diane will be remembered for her warmth, dedication, and the joy she brought to her family and friends. Her legacy of love and caring will live on through the many lives she touched.
