Diane Walters 1935 - 2013 Diane Leota Walters was born June 7, 1935, in Sacramento, California, to Will and Phyllis Denny. She entered into rest at her home in Bear Valley Springs on Monday, August 12, 2013. Diane was the consummate teacher, principal, and mentor to hundreds of students and teachers. She was everyone's best friend and always made people feel like they were the most important person in the world to her. She was very close to her mother and sister, and had a special relationship with her cousin, Sharon. She loved her family and devoted much of her life to being the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and aunt to all of us. There are few in this world that have had such a wonderful impact on all who knew her. Diane's staff and colleagues from her tenure as a teacher and school principal are testimony to her compassion as an educator and leader. An outstanding cook, she left a legacy of wonderful recipes that will be enjoyed by all of us for the rest of our lives, and her prowess at planting and nurturing the most beautiful flowers and plants, will never be forgotten. She leaves her husband, Chris; daughter, Robin; daughter, April and husband, Steve; sister, Jule and husband, Bob; cousin, Sharon; and the loves of her life, grandchildren, Andrew, Sophie, and Leah. She will forever live in the hearts and minds of her family and friends. A celebration of Diane's life will be held on Saturday, August 24th, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 23800 Crystal Lake Lane in Bear Valley Springs.
