Donna Haukenberry Obituary

Donna Haukenberry July 31, 1941 Nov. 24, 2005 Services: Wed., Nov. 30, 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2:00 p.m., at Mish Funeral Home, in Oildale for Donna Haukenberry. Donna was born July 31, 1941 to Eric C. and Mildred Moore in Bakersfield, CA, where she lived her whole life. Donna retired from P.G.&E. in 1992 after 25 years of service. After that, she worked part-time for Bill Wright Toyota and then part-time at Centennial Garden. Wherever she went, she made many friends. Donna is survived by her beloved son, Marc Haukenberry; her sister, Joyce Watson; her brother, Bill Moore and wife, Mary; brother, Taylor Moore and wife, Irene; niece, Karen Turner and husband, Jay; and beloved cat Kidders, plus many nieces, nephews and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Robert, Kenneth, Eric Moore Jr. and sister, Ann. Donnas family extends special thanks to the tender care of her physician, Dr. Larry Yokayama, Dr. Dean Davis and all at Florence B. Wheeler Cancer Center and Mercy Hospital who helped her in her long battle with cancer. Now she is home with the Lord. Donations in memory of Donna may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mom, its been a privilege and an honor to take care of you this last year. You were never a burden to me. I pray for strength and comfort and I feel your love shining down on me, from you, my guardian angel up above. I Love You Mom, Marc. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, November 29th, 4-8 p.m., at Mish Funeral Home, Oildale.

THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A PLACE FOR YOU IN MY HEART..MANY GOOD YEARS WORKING TOGETHER AT THE PGE DOWNTOWN OFFICE. I WILL NEVER FORGET THE GOOD LAUGHS WE HAD AT WORK..YOU WERE A GREAT PERSON INSIDE AND OUT. I SAW YOU JUST BEFORE LEAVING WORK 2 YEARS AGO..TIME ESCAPES US ALL. YOU HAVE BEEN A POSITIVE INDIVIDUAL IN MY LIFE..ONE TO ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED!

MARC, YOUR MOM WAS SPECIAL, I AM PROUD TO HAVE KNOWN AND WORKED WITH HER!
