Dorothy "Darlene" Gallagher Biter
October 27, 1939 - August 18, 2017
Darlene came from humble beginnings and was born in New Mexico.
She is survived by her 6 brothers and sisters: Doyle Gallagher, Marie McCrossen, Glenda llama, Soundra Wood, Barbara Guagliardo, and Dale Gallagher and will join her sister Claudine Burnard in heaven. She had four children: Martin Biter, Carrie Genise, Marla Biter Ayler, and Cindy Hobbs. She had eight grandchildren: Cherrity Ahrens, Baleigh Fox, Keith Ayler, Beau Biter, Athena Genise, Savannah Genise, Logan Hobbs, and Luke Hobbs.
She recently had her first great grandchild, Scarlett Fox.
She was an avid churchgoer and attended Northside Community Church for many years. She was involved in numerous groups and ministries including: the seniors ministry, prayer group, quilting group, and International Prayer Request meetings. She read her bible daily, loved her family with all of her heart, and greatest wish in life was to tell everyone about Jesus that she could. She was loving, humorous, and the most generous person.
Her family and church invite you to celebrate her being in heaven by attending her Celebration of Life. The celebraton will be held on Saturday August 26th at 10:30 in the morning at Northside Community Church. The address of the church is 3331 Calloway Drive in Bakersfield, CA.
