Scott,
Please accept my deepest condolenses on the loss of you Dad. I have never met him personally but it seems I knew him well as we talked about him so often. I have also found out today that he was even more wonderful than I had known and had touched many lives and spread happiness around. May his soul rest in peace and God Almighty give him special place in His presence and give you the courrage to overcome your grief and celebrate his life and his achievements in this world.

Sincere condolences to the Reid Family who hold such a special place in my heart.
Many of my childhood memories involve time spent at your home in Bakersfield, as well as the happy weekends at your beach home. The only bummer was that damn dog, Celeste, that always tried to bite me!
As a young adult needing a job Bud was kind enough to find some work for me to do at his office in the Kern Island Building.
We drifted apart but you all have remained in my heart. Upon reading of Bud's passing I felt the need to tell you all, "I love you and thank you being a part of my life!"

Dear Jenny and Family,
Through the years, we have loss touch, but I just wanted you to know that we were saddened to learn of your dad's passing. Our wish for you is that you are able to smile through the tears as you fondly recall your precious memories. It is ironic that just this last weekend, Lance was telling a story about he and Chet that made us laugh and recall many happy times.
Always,
Melissa McMillan Spitzer & Family

My meeting with Eugene was brief but inspirational. Whilst residing in San Francisco at Scott Reid's residence, I was very kindly invited to a family evening with The Reid's.
We attended an opening night of a show called "Thwack" starring The Umbilicle Brothers (Two Australian mime artists). Needless to say this was an interesting performance of modern human caricature and sound effects. Whilst we laughed away Bud politely smiled at the prospect of having to sit through the lengthy performance, which he did with such grace!
Mr Reid left a lasting impression on me and was a very affable man, my heartfelt sorrow is with the family at the passing of this wonderful character I simply knew as Bud.
