Frank Lortscher Obituary
January 25, 1935 - July 28, 2021
After a long battle with dementia, Frank is now busy in Heaven praising God. Born in Long Beach, CA to parents Frank and Beulah Lortscher; he
graduated from his beloved USC in 1958 and went on to have a long career in the oil industry. He got a second chance at love marrying Roberta Magness. They cherished life together until her passing in 2010.
Frank enjoyed fishing and hunting with friends, singing in the church choir, kitchen ministry and volunteering with several organizations: Lions Club, Gideons, Trade Club, PPP, API, and Pyles Boys Camp BBQ to name a few.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Marilyn Tarlton, his wife Roberta and his son Frank Jr. Missing him on earth are his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his brother John. Services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial, August 21. Visitation at 8am, Chapel at 9am and Graveside at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Rosedale Highway Lions Club, PO Box 3038, Bakersfield, CA 93385-3038 or Hoffman Hospice who wonderfully cared for him in his final days on earth.
