Frank Gonzales Yanez

Visitation for Frank Gonzales Yanez will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) on Friday, November 21, 2003, from 9:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m., and a graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, November 21, at Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery.

Frank G. Yanez was born April 29, 1949, in Pasadena, California, and he passed away on November 17, 2003, in Bakersfield, CA.

Frank is preceded in death by his father, Maurice Yanez, Sr. and his brother, Robert Yanez. He is survived by his mother, Henrietta Yanez; son, Ricardo Yanez; son and daughter-in-law, William and Misty Yanez; and son, Frank Yanez; grandson, William Yanez, Jr.; brothers, Andrew and Maurice Yanez, Jr.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Henrietta and Amado Galaviz and Laura and Charlie Gonzales; special cousin and her husband, Elaine and Juan Tirado; and numerous other relatives and friends. Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. He was a war hero earning a Purple Heart and Medal of Valor. Frank was a man with a great heart and sense of humor. He had many talents and loves in his life, among them are his art- work, his Chess set, his trucks, plants and books. He will be missed by all of that loved him.
