Fred Rowland

Services: Fri., April 26, 11 a.m.

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Ln., Friday, April 26, at 11:00 a.m. for Fred Rowland who was born October 8, 1930 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Pastor Jack Peacock and the Kern County Veterans Association will officiate.

After serving four years in the Navy, Fred went to work for PG&E and retired after 36 years.

The Heavens opened up and the angels sang as Fred was met by his youngest son, parents and many friends.

Fred will be missed by his wife, Louise; son, Freddy Lynn & wife, Beverly of Louisiana; his two children: Kyle and Kasi of Bakersfield; his daughter, Debbie McCombs and her two children, Andrew and Robyn; his daughter-in-law, Mary Crain and her son, Zachary Rowland; sisters, Alta Wright of Bakersfield, Yvonne Mason and Mary Braly both of Texas; and brother, Ray of El Centro. Fred was preceded in death by youngest son, Jon David; brother, R.C. Madden and sister, Christine Philpot.

A very special Thanks to Dr. James Chang and his staff, which Fred loved to pick on and tease all of them. No visitation is scheduled.
