Irenes was born in Puerto Rico in 1954. He is survived by his wife, Efigenia; children, Arturo, Eduardo, Erika; and grandchildren.
Services will be held at Basham Funeral, 3312 Niles St. Bakersfield, CA 93306, on February 7, 2018; with the viewing at 5 p.m., rosary at 7 p.m. and funeral Mass on January 8, 2018, at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Rd. Bakersfield.

My condolences to Irene Ruberte's Family. I grew with up with his kids. I will always remember Irene being kind nd humble. Always had a smile on his face. He had a caring personality. He made you feel like family. He will be missed but never forgotten. Now he's up in heaven dancing with the angels. R.I.P. Irene Ruberte.
