Jacky Solis, was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and entered eternal life on Thursday, February 25, 2016, in Bakersfield, California. She was devoted and loving wife, mother, grandma, and friend Jacky was a registered nurse and began her career at Washoe Medical Center in Reno Nevada, where she worked in the Cardiac ICU. She then moved to Bakersfield, California where she worked as cardiac nurse at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. She later transitioned from staff cardiac nurse to educator where Jacky found her true passion. Many of her staff and coworkers would not only call her a great teacher but a mentor, leader, and friend.
Her family and friends will remember Jacky as having a personal relationship with her savior Jesus Christ. She volunteered in the children's ministry at the Bridge Bible Church. She had an incredible love for her Church family.
Jacky had a life-long affair with chocolate, and shoes. You could always be guaranteed Jacky some type of chocolate in her purse. She had impeccable taste in unique shoes that always matched her outfit. Jacky was known as the "dog mom" and famous for making gourmet dinners for her dogs.
But most of all she love her children as God loved her, unconditionally. She adored and cared for each of her children and grandchildren.
Jacky, is survived by her husband Elias J. Solis; her children Tavis Dahlke, Nate Dahlke, Rickee Russell, Tanner Russell, Christopher Solis, and Matthew Solis; her daughters-inlaw, Angela Dahlke, Jenny Solis, Lindsey Solis; her grandchildren Taryn Dahlke, Drew Justeson, Isis Dahlke, Hanna Dahlke, Desi Dahlke, Alexandria Dahlke, Marianna Dahlke, Rylan Taylor, Gavin Taylor, and Ethan Solis.
Jacky, is also survived by her father, Ron Pfaff, and sisters Lynn Rae Ludvigson, Denise Reed, Sue Harrison, brother Matt St. Clair, and brotherin-law Mike Harrison. Nieces and Nephews, Philip Ludvigson and Dominque their children, Heather and Todd Cooper and their children Jacky, is also survived by brothers-inlaw and sisters-inlaw, Lupe and Anita Solis and family, Maria and David Solis and family, Ruben and Betty Solis and family, Irma and Ron Smith and family, Art and Angie Mooney and family, Danny and Trish and family.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at the Bridge Bible Church on Saturday, March 5th, 2016 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hoffman Hospice, Best Friends Animal Society, Bakersfield Rescue Mission.
