I was shocked, like everyone with the sudden passing of Jim. I can vividly remember his Sophomore year at BHS, when I had talked him into coming out for Cross Country. He got his paper work done on a Friday and I suggested he start workouts on Monday, to ease into training. He showed up on Saturday for our long run up Rancheria Road. He went 8 miles all uphill on his first workout and was the 5th person on the team to complete the run! Clearly his dedication, drive, and expectations were evident then and throughout his life.Jim,you are still mentoring many today. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and your family and friends.

Myles and Cole, I never had the opportunity to meet your father but it's clear he was a great guy. I do know your grandfather David, and he is also a great guy. He and his brother Chuck were also great Kern County firefighters. I know your grandfather is there for you and will always be there for you. You are not alone and don't ever forget that!

David, it is clear your son was loved by many people and so are you. We are all grieving with you during this terrible time. This family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I'm so grateful for the many pictures I have of us from our high school days. They've brought comfort since learning you'd left us far too soon.

I pray for peace for your entire family, your boys and all of the friends you've left behind. You're now in a much better place and I look forward to seeing you on the other side. Rest in Peace my friend. Rest in Peace...

Our thoughts and prayers go with the Fendrick family. Our prayer is that you find peace in your heart, losing such a wonderful person saddens us all so very much and just know that we are all here for you during this very sad and difficult time. I had the pleasure of knowing Jim on and off stage. In Karmahitlist, my band The Filthies, shared the stage together almost every show. Jim always had a smile, he always had that grin as if he were plotting something big and couldn't wait to say it.. On stage, his big awesome smile turned into a face of passion. He took his guitar playing very serious on stage, as though the entire world depended on him to play perfectly... he was a guitar perfectionist.. He was a bright shining light in the music world. We'll miss him very much.
Kenny, Malissa (Montano) and The whole Mount Family, we'll keep you in our prayers..

Lighting a candle in your memory as I pray. My prayer for your family is that your light shines bright through their darkest days. May your light give them guidance as some days and nights will be longer than ever before. May your light give them hope when there is none. May your light give them strength when they are weak. May your light shed a glimpse of happiness that their futures are bright even in sadness. May your light be more than a memory but an affirmation that the pursuit of happiness is well worth the ride. May your light shine one with in them as they trudge on.

Jim, you were an amazing friend to all that knew you. We lost touch a great time ago but still your passing saddens me greatly for the pain your family is during is all to familiar. May God bless them in this time. And may your light guide them for some may feel lost. Rest in peace my friend. much love and endless prayers to you and yours!
