Jerald Renich Obituary

JERALD W. JERRY RENICH

1948 - 2021

Jerald W. Renich died unexpectedly, but peacefully, at his home in Poso Flat. Jerry was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of C. H. Renich and Bernice Ballou.

He retired in 2012 after spending 35 years in construction management. He'd worked on several large-scale water treatment and prison construction projects in this areas for companies including Quad Knopf, Inc., and Boyle Engineering Corporation. He'd also served as President/CEO of South Coast, Inc., in Alaska.

He was predeceased by his wife Lisa DeAnda Renich and his first wife, Ida Mae Renich.

He is survived by his sister and her husband, Jennette and Richard Alleman in Minnesota, daughter Desiree Butterfield-Nagy and her husband Edwin in Maine, daughter Erica Renich and her fianc Sonny in Oregon, step-son Dylan DeAnda and his wife Kim in Montana, and many beloved nieces and nephews, and their children.

Jerry loved the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing, and had been looking forward to moving to Maine to find a place as remote as possible to explore. He had many fond memories of his time in Poso Flat and the amazing community he found here and he would have been sad to leave.

Jerry's wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be planned for a later date. Those wishing to donate in his memory might consider, based on his wishes, the Montana Wildlife Federation in Helena, Montana, or the National Wildlife Federation in Washington, D.C.
