Josie Faye Hail, 97, passed away January 2, 2019, in Northridge, CA.
Josie married W.L. "Porter" Hail in 1938, living in McFarland till 1982, when they moved to Oceano, CA. Josie worked as a secretary at Mc Farland High School. Porter and Jo were founding members of the Cienaga Seabreeze Mobile Home Park in Oceano.
She is survived by her daughters Barbara Hail of Northridge, and Euleta Linthicum of Gallatin, TN; Grandchildren Jay Linthicum and wife Jessica of Brentwood, TN, Jenifer Relyea and husband Brian of Simi Valley, CA, Greg Logan of San Luis Obispo, CA; great grandchildren Kylie and Kara Logan, Matthew Ringgold, Grace Relyea and Nathan Linthicum.
Josie was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years W.L. "Porter" Hail in 1991 and her granddaughter Kristi Logan in 2016.
Services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019, 1:00 pm at Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel 1239 Longbranch, Grover Beach, CA. Interment will follow at Arroyo Grande Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Barbara's church mission group Shepherding the Nations, 18644 Sherman Way, Reseda, CA 91335.
