JUDITH WORLEY Obituary

Judy fought the good fight against lung cancer, but at the end, she went gracefully into the night surrounded by her family & close friends. Judy's positive attitude throughout her illness was an inspiration to us all.
Judy loved to travel. She started as an exchange student to Norway and continued through her career as a travel agent. She married the love of her life Paul Worley in 1986. She continued to explore the world with him through overseas postings in Oman, Doha, and Albania. She and Paul shared many happy adventures together in Kenya, Thailand, Ireland, attending races at Royal Ascot and many other exotic destinations.
Judy loved horses and grew up riding. Later she developed a keen interest in thoroughbred racing. She owned many thoroughbreds in the last few years. Some were winners, others not, but loved each one and visited them with carrots whenever she could. She made many new friends through racing and made real fans of the sport out of her old ones
Judy loved to laugh, especially with her girlfriends. Her group of friends met every week for 30 years and she only missed when she lived abroad.
Preceded in death by her husband Paul Worley, parents Jack & Emilie Butterfield, grand- parents, aunts, uncles & cousins and Golden Retriever, Jack.
She is survived by her beloved son, Morgan Huestis, big sister, Kathryn Butterfield-Davis, niece & nephew Michelle Beck, Ethan Moses, grandnieces & nephew, Emilie Beck, Rhyen, Jack & Julia Moses and our aunt, Nancy Narducci, who was always available for assistance and support.
Special appreciation for Sonya George, Judy's caregiver, who dedicated herself to Judy's comfort and well-being.
Our lives will be less rich without Judy in them and the pain of her loss will be with everyone for a long time.
You are invited to attend a celebration of Judy's life October 1 from 2-5 p.m. Ladies are encouraged to wear hats. Please contact Kathy Butterfield-Davis at [email protected] or Sara Reshaw at [email protected]
