Visitation for Judy Fernandez Bowman will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday evening, October 18, 2002 at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) and a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, October 19, 2002 in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel.
Judy Catherine Bowman was born on March 15, 1951 in Bakersfield to Laurence and Beatrice Fernandez and passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 14, 2002.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents and leaves behind husband, Michael Bowman; son, David Wiley of Florida; daughter, Christina Wiley of Bakersfield, and son, Brian Wiley of San Jose, California; brother, Adrian Fernandez; sisters, Rose Wagoner, Laurel Benson, Karen Wilkins and Yvonne Ronshausen; and many special family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
Judy was the fourth of six children, and attended local schools and graduated from Garces Memorial High School in 1969.
