November 30, 1959 - August 14, 2021
Kenneth Peters Jr., Ken, 61, entered eternal life on August 14, 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee. This obituary shares the life and beliefs of a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. We honor a man who was a pillar of his community and a strong foundation for his family.
Ken was born in Bakersfield, California, on November 30, 1959 to Kenneth and Dorothy Peters. He graduated from Garces Memorial High School in 1978. After a life-changing encounter in September of 1981, he devoted his life to the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. On June 6, 1987, he married Tonja, the love of his life, and along with their respective children, Sarah and Ryan, they began a family. Within a few short years, they welcomed their daughters Candice and Rachel as well. Often over the years, he included his wife and children in ministry, and they traveled throughout the United States, Canada, and Central America together. In 2007, Ken and Tonja began a church, The Gathering at Corona, which soon expanded to The Gathering Network of Churches. He desired to see a greater level of relationship between churches and constantly made himself available to pastors and leaders across the globe for prayer, wisdom, and direction. On his final day, he was surrounded by his family, who he adored more than anything in this world.
Left to cherish his memory are his father, Kenneth Sr.; his wife, Tonja; his daughter Sarah and son-in-law Josh, his son Ryan, his daughter Candice, and his daughter Rachel and son-in-law Ryan; his grandchildren, Tristan, Kirk, Toni, Nathan, Maverick, Abigail, and Gracelyn; and his siblings Eric, Keith, Lisa, and Stephanie. He is reunited in Heaven with his sister Michelle and his mother Dorothy.
Ken lived a simple life that transformed thousands of lives around the world, yet his greatest passion was knowing and obeying God and loving his family. His faith in Jesus Christ was the primary cornerstone of his life and it inspired many to live surrendered to the will of God, just as he did. He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife. He was an amazing father who always took care of his children and did the best he could to teach and guide them. He held his grandchildren close to his heart and loved being Papa more than any other title he carried. He was a caring and selfless friend to many near and far. He believed in living completely in truth, no matter the consequences. Whether he was before leaders of nations or in the living room of dear friends, he was generous with his voice, his wallet, and his life. He left an impression on all he met.
Though we are saddened at his departure, we are grateful that this is not the end of his life. He ran with great endurance and finished his race here on earth well. We have this Hope that we will see him once again and together we will rejoice in the presence of our Savior.
The celebration of Ken's life will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Thousand Hills Ranch in Pismo Beach, California at 2:30 PM and is open to all who wish to honor him.

I first heard. Him preach on the Kansas City prophecy club on u tube many years ago he was a spirit filled powerful speaker he spoke of many visions God had shown him so much I remember feeling I’m I the only one Christian feeling excited about the Christian walk churches I was in seemed so dry aabout the Holy Spirit then he mentioned he experienced that too! About churches it helped me to know someone else’s feeling same thingIt helped me I did not feel alone in this I did search out believers who were really seeking the Holy Spirit it changed my life for the good I just thank him for sharing that it changed my like for the good!!

Dear family of Ken Peters,
I first learned of Ken Peters years ago, and then forgot of his testimony until recently, when saw his testimony about the tribulation again. What a wonderful testimony all his videos are. I hope to have time to go through all of them, as they are so funny ... sometimes we forget that God has a sense of humor and he brings that out so beautifully. I know God will use Ken to do wonderful things in His kingdom. God bless his family through the tribulation and give them strength, as he has given us strength.

Dear Ken Peters' family members,
I am Faten from Tunis, Tunisia. I'm a born-again Christian believer since May 2018, mother of 3.
I knew Ken about 2 years ago for the first time through his famous YouTube video on his 1980 prophetic dream.
I was astonished and amazed how God used him to describe what is going to happen in the world at the Rapture time and the Tribulation period! I even went back to read again the book of Revelation to assimilate and digest what was written in the book and outlined in his dream! I was completely in awe!
Then just last week, I knew that he left us to be in heaven with our Lord Jesus since 14 Aug 2021!
I was sad for a moment, but then rejoiced for him because sooner or later we will join him after the Rapture takes place to be with His Majesty the King!!! Hallelujah!
I love you guys even though I don't know you, but in Christ we must know and love each other in the way Jesus has loved us the first, as His body!

I've personally never met Pastor Ken. However, the testimonies of his dreams and, or visions granted to him by God have encouraged me to share my experiences! One day in heaven I pray to meet him and share mine with him too.
I personally believe God has taken him home early to prepare him for what's to come in our endtime so that's he's in his heavenly position for assisting God during the millennial 1000 years reign of Jesus on this earth. I personally believe many more will be taken early for this purpose. But only God truly knows and we'll find out later. But either way... it's all exciting to see his dreams of the past actually playing out today, our present times! To God be the Glory!!! Amen!!!

Never met you my friend... but have suffered great loss before I was 35 with the loss of my mom, dad, and my 19 yr brother. So sad to hear of Pastor Peters´ early departure from among us. His inspirational life and prophetic messages have been very dear to me over the years and unforgettable to say the least. I write this with great sadness as I had hoped to someday meet him personally while here on Earth. I want to say this..years ago I spoke over the phone to a young Mexican church worker who pastor Ken had helped recruit to the Lord´s service in California. The man had nothing but praise for Pastor Peters and referred to him as a true Prophet of God. And now, like true Prophets of our Lord Jesus Christ, Pastor Ken has joined the great assembly of Prophets and people of God in His Kingdom. Thank you Ken, for your life and dedication to God´s Kingdom and the people of Earth. Your testimony and legacy continues here with us until the day we will finally meet in His courts. I've been watching Ken's videos. I didn't know him but he has taught me a lot and I can only imagine the thousands of others as well. What an incredible, obedient and God fearing man he was. I didn't have the opportunity to meet him here on earth, but God-willing, I will meet him in Heaven. I'm sure he's making everyone laugh in Heaven. Oh such a joy. God Bless all his family.

This makes me sad. I did not know Ken but thank the Lord regularly for him and his life and for the dream He gave him. I re-watch it about twice a year, and enjoy Ken's personality as much as the video. I send my condolences to Ken's family, I lost my husband three years ago, at age 62, so I share your sadness. I so much look forward to meeting Ken in the Kingdom of Heaven very soon. God bless you all, and allow the Prince of Peace to give you His peace.

To Ken´s family-I saw his prophecy club video several years ago and was looking it up again today, when I read he had gone home to be with the Lord. I am sorry for your loss, and yet I feel the time before you are reunited will be soon. I look forward to meeting you personally some day in heaven to thank you for your faithfulness to ministry in the midst of persecution. He helped mentor me when I was a young believer . I think back now and I must have annoyed him with my constant questions but true to his nature he always took the time to spend with me . He helped me in so many ways back then at Four Square Church . We still talk about and laugh at his idea ( and yours ) to have a full manicure on our wedding day . Pastor Kenny was a true friend. As youngsters he was 3 yrs older than me but treated me like an equal. I will always remember him accepting people for who they are! I admired him for his faith too. Pastor Kenny never worried about death because he knew where he was going. He struggled with health problems but that never ever stopped him. God bless you Kenny! I'm sure you are hugging your mama, Michelle and Nick and of course your grandparents.

I want to send my condolences to Mr. Peters family, I am so sorry for your loss. May the Lord wrap his loving arms around you during this time and the days to come. I didn´t personally know Mr. Ken, but Myself, along with I am positive countless others have watched his 1981 video with great awe at the dream the Lord gave him. I have wanted to contact him on numerous occasions to share a dream of Heaven that the Lord gave me back in 2017, but never got the courage to do so.
Again, please know that he touched many peoples lives through his dream and I will never forget the details and how much I know that his dream was from the Lord.

I was shocked when i heard the news of Prophet Ken Peters passing. I was seeking the Lord and wondered aloud, "isn't there supposed to be some kind of sign when a prophet enters heaven?" The very next day i discovered that the second supernova in six days occurred on the day he passed, M31N at 04:53 UT. I know a little Hebrew and 4 is "dalet" or DOOR and well, 53 means "faithful witness". I believe a star burst forth and opened a door to welcome a prophet that can join the Lord in interceding for this world. Rest in Peace....the Awakening Blast will be heard soon.
