Michael Eugene Kincheloe August 11, 1947 - August 9, 2013 Michael Eugene Kincheloe, loving husband, father, and grandfather went home to be with the Lord August 9, 2013 with his wife and children at his side. Michael was born August 11, 1947 in Bakersfield, California to Keith and June Kincheloe. He was a cowboy in his younger years before joining the Marine Corps. After returning to Bakersfield, Michael became the father of three children, Joshua, Sarah, and Doreen. He worked as a professional painter and contractor, but was also a talented oil painter, musician, and marksman. Then, in 2004, he met the love of his life, Patricia. They married August 31, 2005 and spent his remaining years together in Bakersfield. They made a wonderful life together until he was diagnosed with cancer in 2011. After a painful two-year struggle, he succumbed to the cancer, but not without putting up a fight. He leaves behind his wife, Patricia, daughter and son-in-law Kris & Sarah Cooper and their four children, son Joshua and his daughter, and daughter and son-in-law Doreen and Andrew Watrous and their children. Michael's services will take place on Tuesday August 20 at 10:00am at Kern River Mortuary on North Chester. Internment will follow at 1:15pm at the Bakersfield National Cemetery on East Bear Mountain Blvd. A reception will follow.
