Nancy Brogdon Obituary

Nancy S. Brogdon Oct. 24, 1947 - Dec. 14, 2006 Funeral services will be held in the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. for longtime McKittrick resident, Nancy S. Brogdon, 59. Burial will follow in the West Side District Cemetery. Nancy was born in Selma on October 24, 1947 and passed away in Bakersfield on December 14, 2006. She devoted her life to spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and family business. For many years Nancy was the bookkeeper for Brogdon Oil and Brogdon Services Companies. Nancy enjoyed shopping, watching movies and working in her yard. She especially enjoyed going to the beach and on trips with her family. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Furman and Ethel Wilson; her brothers, Jerry Wilson and J.D. Wilson; her father and mother-in-law, Ernie and Juanita Brogdon and by her brother-in-law, John Brogdon. She is survived by her husband, Ronald "Poly" Brogdon of McKittrick; her children, Ronnie and Lisa Brogdon of Taft and Ronnie's children, Dewayne. Alicia and John, Shelly Brogdon of Oregon and her children. Craig, Levi, and Laney. Rick and Deena Brogdon and their children, Bailee, Kenidee and Wade; her brothers and their wives, Jerry and Carol Wilson. Cleatus and Nell Wilson, and Donald and Frankie Wilson; her sister and her husband. Mary and Everett Furrh and by numerous nieces and nephews. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so on Tuesday from 3:00p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home. Erickson & Brown Funeral Home

Brogdon Family - Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this path of great loss.
Though I have not been close by; Nancy's smile and sense of humor will always be remembered.

Dear Brogdon family~ Our hearts and our prayers are with you and for you. My Mom & Pop (Tom & Mary Moore), Andrea, Kristin, Ryan, and I (Carrie) love and respect Nancy and you all. We have gone our different directions in life and have not kept in close touch~ but there are friends you always think about and carry in your heart. As we have seen each other out shopping & got to visit~ It was nice to see you and Nancy, Poly.
We pray God will comfort you and take you through this time of grief and loss.

I would like to tell the entire Brogdon family how sorry I am for their loss. I have known Nancy and her family for 15 or more years and I loved Nancy and her great sense of humor. I will miss her deeply. My prayers are with all of you.
