I just found out what happened and wanted to say to Melissa, Melanie, and Jessica how sorry I am for their loss and that my thoughts and prayers are with them. I knew Pete for years and was able to enjoy his famous BBQ's and be a part of his and Nancy's lives. I babysat for Paul and Melissa when thier kids were little and just remember how loving Pete was. My heart breaks for their loss but I know that Pete will live on in their hearts and with all of the good memories that Pete gave to everyone. I will deeply miss him and I also just want to say he raised the best daughters that anyone can ever have. You are all in my heart!!!

We all faced a very sad day 8/08/08
when we lost our dear and loving friend and brother, Pete. My love and condolences to his wife, Rebecca, her daugher Jessica, as well as Pete's loving daughers Melanie, Melissa and Jessica and their families. Pete had so much love to share and he will be sadly missed. We are so looking forward to the Resurrection so we can share
his loving smile, once again.

Pete or "Nono" as we called him was my grandfather. He was always fun to be with and hang around with i was sad when i heard about what had happened. I wish he could come back, he is always in my hopes and prayers. He will be missed greatly by his family.

I too would also like to thank everyone that has been so kinda and thoughtful to my sisters and I. My dad was the best dad anyone could ever want. I am so thankful that we got to live next door to him and my mom for two and a half years in Oregon. We had a lot of good times together. I am also thankful that my dad got to come out to Georgia to visit my family and I. Thinking about all the good times helps make things some what easier.
I love my sisters very much, dont know what I would do if I didnt have them.
Dad, I love you more than words can express, you will always have a piece of my heart and I will always be proud to say you are MY dad!

To the family of Pete Bionda...we've been customers for a few years now and will greatly miss our favorite bug man! He was so sweet and kind. I remember he saw my daughter have a bike wreck on her way home from school a few years ago and he stopped to check on her and then came by the house to tell us! She thought he was the greatest for that. So did we! He was a wonderful person and we were fortunate to have met him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I would also like to thank everyone who has been there for us girls through this terrible time. You always think that this will never happen to me. My dad was a big part of my life, even though we lived far apart. We spoke to one another almost everyday on the phone. That is something that I am really going to miss. The sound of his loving and caring voice. He was always so concerned about us girls as we were about him. I am so fortunate that I only have good memories of my Mom & Dad. I have always compared everyone to them. I could not have asked for better parents!!! I will always love you and miss you more than I could ever imagine.

I personally want to thank everyone for all of their thoughts, prayers, and concerns for me and my sisters during this difficult time. Our dad was a wonderful person as well as a father, thats what makes this sooo hard! It is comforting to know that he was so well liked by everyone and will be missed by many. I look forward to reading all of the comments that have been posted each day, its such a tribute and reminder how fortunate we all were to have him in our lives :) Our hearts were broken on August 8th, but our memories will remain.

I have been absent from family gatherings for some time but most fondly remember Junior often during my many visits to see Jim. He served as my older brother too. Always soft spoken, kind and respectful. A wonderful example of God's love.

My condolences to all of Pete's family. As one of the younger cousins, I was a little removed from "Junior" in the early days. I think my earliest memory of him is in his sailor clothes at Zio Pete's and Zia Rose's house. Of course with the passing of the years I got to meet with Junior a little more "eye to eye". A big heart, just like his mom & pop. Although the suddeness of his death must be difficult I hope that your memories of your shared times with him will bring you comfort.

Melissa, Melanie and Jessica, I know your parents are so very proud of the capable and kind women you have grown to become. As your father's first cousin, I saw his kindness and generosity strongly embedded in your personalities and character. And you have exemplified your mother Nancy's nurturing love in your children's lives -- it truly shows. We have all suffered a huge loss, but you "girls" most of all. Not only am I going to miss my wonderful Dad, but also my best friend. I am going to miss the picture of his smiling face on my cell phone when he called. At this time it does not seem real.
