Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd, for Reggie Arvizu, 58, who passed away April 8, 2005, in Los Angeles. Pastor Eugene Ward will officiate. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Reggie was born on May 16, 1946, in Bakersfield. He was a wonderful husband to his beloved wife, Mindi Arvizu, a wonderful and loving father to his children, Candice Cozbey of Bakersfield, Reggie Arvizu of Laguna Hills, Mandi Christina Arvizu of Seal Beach and Robin Lynn Arvizu of Bakersfield; caring and loving grandpa to children of Candise, Gary Cozbey and Tyler Cozbey, children of Reggie, Serena Arvizu and Olivia Arvizu, and children of Robin, Shayla Esquedo, Trenton Franetovich and Nautica Franetovich.
Reggie had a powerful love for the Lord and was an ordained minister, one of his greatest accomplishments was the people he brought to Jesus.
He was a local and well respected musician for many years and became one of the greatest gospel musicians for the Lord. He will always be remembered and greatly missed.
Visitation begins Friday 1:00 - 9:00 p.m.
