I was blessed to have met Retha in 1972, when I became the Fourth Grade teacher of her son Darin. My ongoing gift and relationship with Retha continued with Mark also being my student. My memory of Retha was that of her love and devotion to her sons, her friendly, happy demeanor, as well as her energetic willingness to help with my class. Retha was a warm, loving lady and a privilege to know. My heart goes out to Darin and Mark in the loss of their precious mother.
With much love and sympathy,
