In Loving Memory of Richard LaRue
October 6, 1976 - May 5, 1996
Wow son-son 41 years old but forever 19. Life has kept moving on even without you here. I often go back to the day of your birth and think of how you changed everything. Such a blessing that started our parenting journey. We learned together since you were the first born. God knew what he was doing because you were a pretty easy one to raise. He knew I needed you to get through the 3 girls. You were the stepping stone, the guinea pig, the wonderment for the steps of parenting. Thank you for being my loving teacher. We are so proud of Kayla in taking her first step to sobriety and truly becoming a parent soon to Landen. God has wrapped his arms around her and bringing her to the clear side. As all of your sisters, cousins and friends are finding out, parenting isn't for the weak! I go from elation on their accomplishments to devastation on their fails but they are learning every day what works and what doesn't for all those sweet babies God brings into our lives. Your cousin Jeff finally gets to experience it with his sweet son Justin Wilson Joiner. It shows you're never to old LOL. Kylie's Kinslee and Yvette's Penelope joined the pack. We have lots of new ones coming next year including your little sis Ricki. Thank God it's a boy because I still don't think she's ready for a girl. It's a great thing Jarod has the patience of a saint! Everyone is still growing and the love from them all just keeps us blessed in our life. I don't know what we would do without each and every one that God has sent to us. From the brief encounters of your friends to the fullness of our entire family he just keeps blessing us. We will be with you again son-son and what a day that will be. In the meantime keep throwing those pennies from Heaven because they do brighten our days.
Love you every single day, Dad, Mom, Erika, Anthony, Melissa, Jason, Ricki, Jarod, Kayla, Chad, Chase, Kadyn, Emma, Colt, Ryker, Sorenn, Landen and Soon-to-come!

I remember Richard from Highland High. He was a very sweet guy. I am sorry for your time being cut short with him. But yes, you will see him again.
