During this time of mourning, I would like to express my sincere condolence at the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in persistent prayers, as “the peace of God that excels all thought will guard your heart and your mental powers.” (Philippians. 4:7) I certainly hope that the help God can give at this time will make a difference.

I gave Dick the instruction for his Private Pilot certificate. He was a quick learner and became an excellent pilot. He was the attending pediatrician at the birth of my daughter. While I had not seen him in years, he was always close in memory. Dick was a trusted friend whom I admired. He will be fondly remembered by our family

I knew Dick at the Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Center in Bakersfield, CA. I am sorry to hear of his passing, doubly so, since I now live in the Charleston, SC area, and had no idea he lived so close; I would have liked to visit him here.
