It 's not easy to say goodbye brother. Our brother passed away at U.C.L.A. Ronald Regan Hospital, after a futile attempt to save his life. Thank you
Dr. Nick and the medical Staff at U.C.L.A.
Steve was born in Bakersfield California at home and leaves behind two children. He went to local schools graduating from Bakersfield High. He was a good person, caring for others before himself. It's sad that out of 12 siblings, some chose to take advantage of him by stealing his life savings and possessions You know who you are.
Steve had lots of friends and could be found every Sunday at the
Swap-O-Rama on Union Ave. He liked to joke around and some of his favorite saying were Good Boy and I'll do it again Don't worry be happy and have a nice day .
Chapel service will be at Alma Funeral Home 2130 E. California from 5:30 to 8:30 on Wed. July 13, 2022 mass service will be at San Clemente Mission on Thurs. July 14, 2022 at 1305 Water St @9:30am followed by grave yard service at Union Cemetery 730 Potomac Ave. Pallbearers will be Brothers Robert Rivera Lorenzo Gomez and Richard Gomez, Nephews, Robert Bobby Rivera Jr, Reuben Rivera, Rick Gomez Jr.

TO THE FAMILY
OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES, MY MOTHER AND I KNEW STEVE FROM FOOD TOWN, HE WAS SO EXCITED WHEN HE WAS GOING MARRY ADRIANA AND HE TOLD ME AND MY MOM. HE WAS VERY HAPPY WHEN HE WAS GOING TO BE A DADDY, TOO. AWESOME, YES HE WAS A PEOPLE PERSON AND GRACIOUS. GOD BLESS ALL OF US IN BAKERSFIELD WITH A KIND SOUL. MAY OUR DEAR FATHER IN HEAVEN AND THE BLESSED MOTHER EMBRACE YOU ALL IN THIS LOSS.
