Ronald Lee Grissom was born on September 24, 1945, to Elize and Betty.
Ron was a wonderful husband, father, Epa, and Great Epa. He was married to his wife, Marguerite, for 54 years. They had two children, Ron John and Theresa Lee; three grandsons, Justin, Jacob, and Corey; and one brand-new great grandson, Waylen. He adored them, and was very proud of them all. Ron also had many aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins and he loved each and every one of them. His younger sisters, Alannah and Vicki preceded him in death.
Ron worked in home improvement retail for 40 years. His last job was at Lowe's, on Columbus. He retired for a while, and then became a crossing guard for the last few years. He loved bowling, archery, and going to the casino. He especially loved to watch his grandsons play baseball.
Ron had such a great sense of humor, and was known for his jokes and silly faces. He was well loved and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends, and even the clerks at the 99 Cent Store.
Services will be held at 2:00pm, on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Southwest Greenlawn Mortuary.
