We got to know Ron Ruettgers for a brief period of time in our visits to our family in Bakersfield. Ron was our niece father-in-law and he and his wife Judy were present in the traditional celebrations that were shared with us. He was an easy man to talk to and always laughing and chatting with everybody. We liked him very much and regretted the fact that we couldn't visit with him any longer due to changes in our lives. We moved away from California and couldn't go to his funeral either! We'll always remember him and his friendly mood and deeply regret his passing. Our most sincere condolences to his wife, Judy and his family.
Sincerely, Marvin and Susana Herbert.

Deanna and I send our sincerest condolences to Ron's family. Ron was my next door neighbor during our Garces years. We had some good times especially the surprise party he put together for me on my 17th birthday. He held it in that wonderful room behind his mom and dad's home. He was a great and special guy!!! Rest in peace Ronnie!! Carrying fond memories in my heart of Ron, his mom and dad and his sister.

Aunt Judy, we love you dearly, and know that you took great care and compassion with your hubby...
To the Ruettgers, though we may be miles apart, I am deeply sorry for your loss, and cannot express a more profound sorrow for the passing of Uncle Ron..
Uncle Ron, No words can describe the sorrow we feel. My kids miss you, I miss you terribly. You were the only Uncle I had and I will cherish the last couple of years, coming to visit you and Aunt Judy.
I always wanted a relationship with you, and we had a conversation at the Golf Course that I will never forget. You made me feel like family, and spent priceless time with me, my memories are filled with a deep contentment, care and love.
Uncle, you helped my family when all was lost and it seemed like nothing would get better. Brighton and Neila loved coming to visit. I only wish we had more time...
I love you Uncle Ron, your Nephew,
Scott Lewis
