Shirley Borchers passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in Bakersfield, California. She was born March 6, 1926 and was 99 years old.
She is survived by her son, John Kroeger and grandchildren Ryan Kroeger, Jeremy Kroeger, Justin Michaels, Adam Michaels, and Emily Bourget.
Shirley was raised in Caney, Kansas, and later married and came to California. She was a school teacher for many years and retired to the Placerville area in California. She later moved to Montana in the Ronan area and there she stayed until she moved back to California to be with her son.
At her request, there will be no memorial service.
