Steven Lee Holterman, or Papa, passed away on July 22, 2021 in Bakersfield, CA. He was born in Fond-du-lac, WI to Nathan and Elizabeth Holterman. He grew up on a beautiful farm in Oakfield, WI, with his siblings Ann, Carol, Judi and Jim (deceased).
Steven served in the Army and was based in Vietnam and Germany. He received many military honors included a purple heart. After his service he became a long haul truck driver for 45 years. He saw and did many interesting things, including his own trucking business.
Steven loved the Packers, westerns, his country, his animals, and his family, who were very important to him.
He will be missed by his family, his children Russell, Theresa, Christina, Stephanie (deceased), Blinker (Claude, deceased), Stacey and Shawna; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Viewing to be held on August 5, 2021 at Greenlawn Mortuary on River Blvd. from 4-8pm. Funeral services to be held on August 6, 2021 at 10am.
