Suzanne Elizabeth Coleman was born March 3, 1941 and passed away peacefully on June 26, 2019 at the age of 78, surrounded by her family. Sue was a wonderful Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Friend.

Sue was born in Coronado, CA at the Navel Hospital. Sue was raised in a military family by her father Lee, US Navy Commander and mother Hattie a dental office assistant. Sue was loved by all the children, their family's, and the co-workers Sue met throughout the years. Sue will be truly missed.

Sue loved life and enjoyed spending time with friends and neighbors. Sue's best friend Jeannie Tatsuno and the Tatsuno family were very dear to Sue. We would like to extend a special Thank you to her amazing neighbors, Bob & Lynn Loflin and Mary & Rod Le Grange for helping our family take care of Sue in her later years. Sue made many very special friendships throughout the years, all were dear to Sue and she cherished them.

Suzy,
I miss you so much. I will always cherish all the memories I have of you. I miss calling to check up on you and making sure you went to dialysis. I miss going to lunch, shopping, cooking your favorite meal which were chile rellenos and lettuce wraps!

Thank you for being the BEST Grandma to our Haley-Bug. I know you loved her like she was yours.

We all miss you and love you so much ♥

Till we meet again,
Erica

Mom,
Thank you for being such a beautiful, strong and loving mother to Leisa, Sherry, Eric, Rich and I. You are the best Grandmother our kids could have ever asked for. I am the man I am today because of the values you instilled in me and the way you raised me. I will never forget all the special memories we shared together when it was just you and me when I was growing up and throughout the later years as you helped Erica and I with our great family. There are no words to describe how much I miss you and wish we could be arguing about something meaningless now. We both called each other stubborn but guess what mom, I learned it from someone, you!! I will always miss you offering me food and me saying "No thanks" and you saying "But it's good", like that would be the conveniencing words that would make me eat it. I always got a kick out of this as if you would have ever offered us something bad to eat. Roughly 10 years ago, I asked you what you'd be doing the next 18 years before telling you that you'd be a Grandmother again to Haley Royal Coleman and that I needed a "Great babysitter." It's funny, you told us at first you could only commit to 2 days a week but after you beating us to the hospital on New years Eve and never leaving our side you never wanted to be away from Haley. "The Best grandmother." I truly believe our "Haley Bug" motivated you to fight soo hard and continue to live throughout your tough and frustrating 20+ year fight with kidney failure. Mom you went above and beyond to provide for me and I will everyday miss and love you. Love, your youngest Son.
