Sylvia was so classy and cared deeply for her patients, students, coworkers and friends. If you knew Sylvia, she treated you like family and made sure you knew she saw you and would help whenever you called. She took pride in her work and it showed. She took a fledgling program and turned it into one that I and many others can be proud to have been a part of. Part of her legacy is the many new Marriage and Family Therapists whom she nurtured and added to the field. She will be missed beyond measure, but I hope your family takes comfort in your many memories of her. Her wings were ready, but our hearts certainly were not.
