Tam Thi Nguyen
October 15, 1934 - July 13, 2017

Tam Thi Nguyen, 82 of Bakersfield passed away on Thurs, July 13, 2017 at Fountain Valley Hospital in Garden Grove, CA after a lengthy illness.

She was born on Oct 15, 1934 in Vietnam and was a 41-year Kern County resident. She was the youngest of Bing Huu Nguyen and Nho Thi Le.

She and Dinh Kim Chau married in Mar 1958 and had 8 children. The family immigrated to the US from Vietnam in Apr 1975. She was preceded in death by her husband after 35 years of marriage.

Tam had a passion for cooking and gardening. She loved spending time with her family. She is survived by daughters Tuyen (Glenn David), Anh (Brian Tipton), Linh (Steven Yan), sons Nghiem Chau, Dinh Chau, Thien Chau, Hoan Chau (Pamela Boltz), Toan Chau, and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, 19 July 2017 at Melrose Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary in Anaheim, CA.
