Veronica McCulloch Obituary

VERONICA ANN MCCULLOCH

August 15, 1969 - September 18, 2021

Veronica Ann McCulloch was born in Bakersfield, CA. on August 15th, 1969 to Ernest Arriola Sr. and Patricia Lamas and passed away suddenly at her home at the age of 52 on September 18th, 2021.

A lifelong resident of Bakersfield, Veronica held many successful positions in her career. Some of which included; Employer's Training Resource, The Disrict Attorney's Office, and most recently, The Kern Council Of Governments where she was still employed upon her passing.

Outside of work, she enjoyed participating in marathons, biking, working out, music, drawing, and was a talented make-up artist. She had an eclectic taste in music and was very active in the early 80's punk-rock culture, sporting the first purple mohawk through the halls of South High School.

She was beautiful, colorful, bright, charming, funny, and resilient. Above all else, she was loved.

She is survived by; her beloved Sons, Daniel Metcalf and Jesse Muniz, Grandaughter Emma Marie, Father, Ernest Arriola Sr. (Teresa), Step-dad, Louie Monsibais (Shelly), Sisters, Irene Padilla, Angelina Bermudez and Brother-in-law, John Bermudez, Monica Arriola, Brothers, Ernest Arriola Jr., Mathew Arriola, Aunts, Tina Cordero (David) and Laura Lamas, her fur companion Dexter, many other special Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and friends too many to list.

Veronica was greeted in Heaven by; her Mother, Patricia Lamas, Uncle, Doug Lamas, Cousin, Roman Cordero, and all of those who have gone on before us.

We loved her deeply, remember her fondly, and miss her greatly. This isn't good-bye, it's only see you later.

A memorial service is still pending and will be announced at a later date.

Looking back 36 years, it doesn't seem that time could go by so fast. But here I am, saying a final goodbye to an old friend and the mother of my son. I had a lot of fun with her. Lots of good memories. And I hope that all her many friends new her for who she really was. A sweet but tuff girl who will be missed very much. Bye for now,,,
