On September 2, 2007, ADALYN MARGARET (nee Berkey) BUETTNER, age 94, beloved wife of 65 years of the late George J.; cherished mother of Carolyn Ruckert (Lawrence) of Osprey, FL., Mary Trotta, (the late Alfonso) of Baltimore, MD., Margaret Woodard (Lee) of Mount Vernon, WA; loving grandmother of Janine (Dana) Delisle, Andrew (Lisa Trotta), Bethany (Arjun) Bhatia, Paul (Cassie) Trotta, Jennifer (Thomas) Beck, Marisa Trotta (Dennis Spencer), Carolyn (Brian) DeMay, Benjamin Woodard, and Carrie Woodard; loving great-grandmother of Zachary and Dominic Trotta, Gabrielle and Cosette Delisle, Luke Trotta, Ashly and Madelyn DeMay and Sarah Spencer. Oldest of 13 children born to Frank and Carrie Berkey. She was predeceased by brothers; Frank, George, Elmer, Michael, William, John, Marion and sisters Amelia Briggs and Josephine McIntyre. She is survived by her brother Herbert and sisters Doris and Thelma and many loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services at the family owned JOSEPH N. ZANNINO, JR. FUNERAL HOME, 263 S. Conkling Street, (at Gough), on Saturday at 9 A.M. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Pompei Church at 10 A.M. Interment Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery. Friends may call on FRIDAY, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Pompei Church, 3600 Claremont Street, Baltimore, MD 21224 or to the charity of your choice.
