On November 2, 2014, ALTON R. PITTS, beloved husband of Jeanne Branford Byrd Pitts. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends. Friends may visit THE FAMILY OWNED MARCH FUNERAL HOME WEST, INC., 4300 Wabash Avenue on Friday after 8:30 AM, where the family will receive friends from 5 PM until 7 PM. The family will also receive friends on Saturday at 10:00 AM, at Victory Prayer Chapel, 4848 Reisterstown Road, followed by funeral services at 10:30 AM.

DearAunt Jeanne,
We felt so sad to learn that Uncle Alton had died. We will miss his warm smile and the encouragement that he always gave. The Bible confirms that the pain of losing a mate is both cruel and long lasting. Please find peace and comfort in knowing that God cares for you and will help you in your time of need. Jeremiah 29:12 "you will call me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you."
