Amber Levesque Obituary



Amber Alayne Levesque died at home in Salem, OR on September 26, 2015 after a 5 month battle with cancer. �She was 36 years old. Born February 11, 1979 in Balto County, MD, an only child, to Dawn Richele (Hickey) Evans and George (Chris) Lohsen. As an O.T., Amber said, "I can't believe I get paid to help people". A parent of one of her patients noted in a FB post "She worked with my 1 yr old after surgery. �She had the best heart & worked so well with my princess!" Another wrote, "We met during graduate school. Amber managed to seamlessly juggle her young family but took on extra responsibility without flinching." She attended Hammond High School - Class of 1997;� HCC�- Class of �2002 - A.A. Early Childhood Education UMBC - Class of 2006 - B.A. English Literature USM - Class of 2010 - Master of Occupational Therapy Hobbies included knitting, hiking, yoga, and kayaking. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015, 7PM at International Community Church located at 123 Byte Drive, Frederick, MD 21702. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Matthew Jude Levesque and 3 daughters; Olivia Rose (16), Cordelia Jolie (11), and Iris Elena (9). Amber's wish is to send donations to Camp No Limits, 265 Centre Road, Wales, ME 04280 (207) 240-5762.
