Anne Taylor Obituary

TAYLOR , Anne Poultney ANNE POULTNEY TAYLOR was born in Baltimore, February 28, 1912, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William D. Poultney. She graduated from the Calvert School in Baltimore and subsequently studied at the Maryland Institute of Art. She and two friends ran a successful gift shop called the Studio Shop. Anne was a well-known local painter and her paintings hang in many Baltimore residences. She was married to Frank J. Taylor, Jr. and, when he died, she joined her mother and brother at their home in Garrison, MD. In 1984 Anne moved to Naples and bought a house. In 1995, she moved to Moorings Park where she had many friends. Her death came two months after her 100th birthday. She is survived by her sister, Elinor Poultney Wagner and brother-in-law, Lee, of Naples; two nephews, James P. Wagner of Boynton Beach, FL and Thomas S. Wagner of Naples; and two nieces, Carol W. Slade of Fort Collins, CO and Anne D'Arcy Wagner of Naples.
A service will be held at Bower Chapel in Moorings Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Avow Hospice in Naples. For online condolences, please visit www.fullerfuneralhome.com
