Annette Bowles Obituary

Annette Germaine Bowles, age 84, of Sneads Ferry, N.C. died on January 10, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center.
Born August 9, 1936, in Holyoke, MA; to George and Germaine Beaulieu. Married to Richard F. Bowles in Albany, N.Y. on November 11, 1954. Annette was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was also considered a mother figure for all those who knew her. She lived life to its fullest, always helping others and looking for her next adventure. She worked for Dixon High School and later Dixon Elementary School as a Teacher Assistant. She was a life long crafter and supporter of the community. Annette was a member of the Red Hats Society, the New River Garden Club and a monthly Bunco group that met at her home. She was very devoted to God and her faith. Survived by son, Michael Bowles and his wife, Sally; and daughter, Stephanie Grimes; grandchildren, Tristan Bowles, Jason Grimes and Nathan Grimes; and brother, George Beaulieu. Predeceased by Richard F. Bowles, Richard F. Bowles Jr. and Raymond Pierce. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please send your donations to the National Coalition for Domestic Violence https://www.ncadv.org/donate.
