Arthur I. Naff

FELTON, PA- Arthur I. Naff, 99, formerly of Catonsville, MD entered into rest at 4:48 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025 at SpiriTrust Lutheran. He was the husband of the late Ruth (Batzler) Naff who passed away in 2002. The couple had been married 50 years.

Born on February 20, 1926 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late John W. Naff, Jr. and Lillian (Kohlhepp) Naff.

Mr. Naff is survived by two sons, Stephen S. Naff and wife, Beth of Jacksonville, FL and William F. Naff and wife, Brenda of Felton, PA; one daughter, Ruth Anne Harding and husband, Phillip of Red Lion; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and close companion, Barbara Riale. He was preceded in death by his brother, John C. Naff, Sr. who passed away in 2003; and sister, Naomi E. Angert who passed away in 2010.

Mr. Naff was a member of New Harmony Presbyterian Church and served as trustee and deacon and treasurer of the cemetery. He was also a World War II veteran serving in the 613th mule pack artillery in the China, Burma, India area. A member of the Keystone Basha C.B.I., V.A., American Legion Post #543 and V.F.W. Post #1446 in Red Lion, PA. He retired from Arnold's Factory Supply, Co. in Baltimore, MD.

Visitations will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Lakeview Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Rd., Eldersburg, MD with the Reverend Pamela Leach officiating and full military honors provided by the Maryland National Guard Honor Guard.
