Ms. Barbara,
I can't believe it's been a year since you've been gone. So much has happened, but I know you're smiling down, watching all of us. There is so much I want to tell you. But I feel that you already know. You would be so proud of Antoine and Andrew, as you always were. Your spirit lives on through them. They are doing so well. I can't imagine how they feel, but they are strong. I miss you so much. I miss talking to you. I miss the way you used to keep me in line. I miss the way you would make me laugh. I miss my Ms. Barbara. You will always be in my heart. I love you.

Antoine and Andrew,
Words can not express how sorry I am for the loss of your mother. She was such a caring woman who, to me, always knew just what to say. I have always admired the relationship the three of you have. Your mother was always so good to me. I feel as though she included me into her family as if I was a child of her own. I will always love her for that. I will never forget how much she has encouraged and loved me.
Ms. Barbara,
I will never forget the conversation we had just the day before God called you to become one of his angels. We talked about how you wanted to come to Houston to visit. Well, I know you are here. I love you.
Love,
Kim

May You Be with God for God is always with you. You are not alone. You never have been, and you never will be. God has been with you every step of the way. And if you ever do feel for a second that he is not right there beside you it is only because he has gone ahead for a moment or two to build a bridge that will keep you safe from harm and that will lead you on toward the light shinging through.
