Friends may call at THE JOHNSON FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 8521 Loch Raven Blvd. (beltway exit 29-B) on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M., where all are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday at 10:30 A.M. Interment in Moreland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Friends of the Baltimore County Library, 320 York Road, Towson, MD 21204 or American Cancer Society, 8219 Town Center Dr., Baltimore, MD 21236-0025 or Stella Maris Hospice, 2300 Dulaney Valley Rd, Timonium, MD 21093.Condolences may be sent to www.jfhmd.com

Barbara, thank you for showing us how to live fully in the present. You did not just sip at the cup life, but drank deeply from all ends of the world! I always enjoyed hearing about your travels and shipboard adventures to all seven continents! Your friends will miss you. Bon Voyage!

Barbara:
Words cannot aptly express the sorrow I feel now that you are gone. I will miss you very much. I guess I will just pretend you are on another one of your fabulous trips cruising around the world! You truly did in one lifetime what most people could not have done in twenty. You were one of the strongest, smartest, most unpretentious people I have ever known. Your sheer will and determination over the last five years left me speechless more times than you could have counted. It is a pleasure and a privilege for you to have called me friend. We will meet again.
