DeNittis family: deepest sympathy to you. I worked for Mr. Blaise when I was in college (77-82). He had a very strong influence in my life for which I've always been grateful. I've thought of those years very fondly throughout my life. God bless his soul.

Dear Mrs. Peggy and family,
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you at the passing of Mr. Baisie. I'll miss seeing him at Mass at St. Leo's and at the Little Italy Lodge. He was always so respectful. I have fond memories of the DeNittis Restaurant carry-out, where it was a special treat for me to go in on Friday nights for a cheesesteak...and oh, that wonderful "pane" (bread)...to see Mr. Baisie, Mrs. Peggy, and Mrs. Mary DeNittis (who passed away in 2003) making sure that all was well. Lovely family; lovely memories. May he rest in peace with his mother now.
Condolences from the Mannetta family, here and in Italy.
With sympathy and love,
Rosalinda Mannetta

Dear Mrs Peggy and family: My deepest sympathy to you on the passing of MR Basie. Many memories come to my mind about him and the resteraunt. The best pizza and bread ever. The last time I saw him was at the lodge. He always asked about my family. May you find comfort in knowing the prayers are being said for all of you. May God keep you all now as you go through this difficult time. The Monaldi Family sends their deepest condolences.
