I only just learned today of Bruce's passing. We are very saddened to hear of his accident. My husband and I had been trying to reach him by phone and through mutual friends since November. We assumed that Bruce was taking a much needed rest due to his illness and that he would contact us when he felt better.
We have been friends with Bruce for many years. I met Bruce and his father at the old Columbia Mall outdoor flea market. Bruce and I both collected small vintage plastic toys and charms. We enjoyed sharing toy hunting stories and viewing each other's latest finds. He was at our home several times to visit and trade charms.
It was always fun to hang out with Bruce at the toy shows, auctions, and flea markets. Bruce loved collecting vintage plastic and diecast toys as well as radio premiums. I remember how excited he was when he found a rare radio premium Little Orpah Annie decoder ring at an antique mall. A huge smile came across his face when he told us that story. It was his greatest toy hunting find.
Bruce was intelligent, friendly, funny, kind, and generous. A good friend and a good person. We are truly blessed to have known him.
Our deepest condolences to his family and friends. We are so very sorry for your loss. Robin and Mike Lambert
