Carroll PHILLIPS Obituary
On June 28, 2015, Carroll Sellers Phillips, beloved husband of the late Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Phillips; brother-in-law of Geraldine Schwesinger, uncle of Patsy and Tim Clark and longtime friend of Stewart Russell. He is also survived by caregivers, LaRhonda Carter and Myrtle Mitchell. Carroll, also known as J.P. was retired from the U.S. Secret Service. He had served from the Truman administration to the Nixon administration. He had served in the U.S. Marines in the Pacific during World War II and the US Coastguard Auxiliary J.P. was a member of the Maryland State Police Volunteer in Police Services. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 1 PM at Druid Ridge Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the U.S. Secret Service "James R. Rowley Foundation" for Educating young Americans or to the The Baltimore Humane Society, 1601 Nicodemus Road Reisterstown, Maryland 21136
