We too met Charlie on a mission trip to Costa Rica. He taught us so much about serving. He taught by example about "prayer breaks" where he would just have us stop in the middle of working and give praise, honor and thanks to our Father. He truly was Christ's hands in action. We are honored to call him friend. Kim and jim McGlaughlin

We met Charlie many years ago while on a mission trip to Costa Rica. He was a may who exemplified true servant-hood in doing the lowly of lowly projects in Costa Rica. After the team members left the retreat center for their day of work or conducting VBS, he would clean the toilets and empty the trash. What a lowly job but a necessary job. We were all so grateful that he saw that need and did it without taking any credit. He was also one of the 1st up every morning to make coffee and help make breakfast. He was a man of God who will be remembered and missed.
