He was 77 years old. Dr. Weldon was born in Mt. Joy, Pennsylvania in 1929. Dear Susie and Anne,

Your Dad will be missed by you and your family, but also by many others in the world who were lucky enough to get a slice of his time. We were some of the lucky few, benefiting from his wit, intelligence and, of course, fine cooking. Between the Christmas Parties (some Egg Nog recipe!) and the liquid meal he made especially for me when my mouth was wired shut, I have very fond memories.

He will never be forgotten.

Love, Stephanie

Sus and family,

When I heard your Dad had passed away, I had a definite sadness, but also I knew that he was able to do so many interesting things during his life! I admire him so much that he had a full career in heart surgery, but was able to retire early and enjoy his life. We can all learn from that!

When I think of your Dad, I too remember his wonderful meals he cooked when I would come to your house, even the simple things always were amazing, and I will never forget that wonderful kitchen! Of course the prom night dinner was something very special, how many people can say they had a full course gourmet meal served just for their friends?

Clarence, or Dr. Weldon as we knew him, was a wonderful man, and we remember him so fondly! Take care during this hard time.

Dear Susie and Anne,

My deepest condolences on the passing of your father.

What I remember most of your Dad are traces of his presence, such as his exquisite gourmet kitchen or the headphones by the TV. I also remember his presence as you hosted the pre-prom party senior year in the gorgeous house in the CWE! Your family was always the excellent host in your immaculate manse.

Fond memories. Although he his no longer physically here, we cherish these mundane memories as that is what keeps him with us.

Warmest wishes,

Sarah Orsay & family
