David Amoss Obituary
A devoted husband and father, Dave is remembered lovingly by his wife Julie Amoss; his children, Joshua, Kayla, and Luke. He was the cherished son of Willard and Linda Amoss. Dave also leaves behind his brothers Jonathan Amoss and Daniel (Christina) Amoss; his sister Sarah (Trevor) Locklear; his father-in-law Donald Hoover and mother-in-law Mary Hoover; sister-in-law Michelle (Kyle) White; sister-in-law Amy (Michael) Stiff; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who brought joy into his life.
Dave was preceded in death by his beloved aunt Clara Mae Amoss and Uncle Rick Watters
A man of deep Christian faith, Dave worshipped at Mount Zion United Methodist Church as well as Mountain Christian Church. His belief in Christ was not only a cornerstone of his personal life but also guided how he treated others-with kindness, humility, and unwavering love.
He found great joy in being present for his children's recreational activities and was an enthusiastic supporter from the sidelines. Whether watching sports or spending time with family, Dave embraced every moment with warmth and dedication.
May the memory of David Willard "Dave" Amoss bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on May 14, 2025, at McComas Family Funeral Homes in Bel Air, from 10 to 11 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Friends, family, and colleagues are invited to come together to celebrate David's life and legacy. David will be laid to rest at Fallston United Methodist Church Cemetery.
