David Iglehart Obituary
David was an avid tennis professional/coach, ice hockey player, and golfer. He had a particular affinity for The Baltimore Ravens and The Oregon Ducks. Caw-Caw, Quack-Quack.
David was born on January 28,1947 in New York, New York to parents Mary Corning Iglehart and Philip L.B. Iglehart.
David is survived by son David Corning Iglehart, Jr. and his wife November Salter Iglehart, son Peter Roberts Iglehart and partner Veronica Afflerbach, two adored grandchildren Madeleine Salter Iglehart and Scarlett Parker Iglehart, and predeceased by Philip Corning Iglehart, Anita Iglehart Swatkovsky, and former wife Frances Scarlett Iglehart.
Please join us at a Celebration of Life on June 13, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:45 PM at The Greenspring Valley Hunt Club located at 30 Garrison Forest Road Owings Mills, MD 21117.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Baltimore Tennis Patrons. Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 190 Owings Mills, MD 21117.

I was heartbroken to hear about David´s passing. He was a wonderful friend to me and my children when he was teaching tennis at Suburban. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. My thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

I was so sad to hear of David´s passing. I had the privilege of a long friendship during David´s days at Suburban, and we kept in touch periodically since. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

David and I have been friends for over 50 years. He is the kindest most wonderful caring person. I was honored to have him in my life. We kept in touch all these years. My heart is broken and I will always love and miss him, and keep him in my heart.

I´ve known David for 65 years or so. Always fun, kind, get the lead out kinda guy. Played Tennis and Paddle with him and opposite him...A very unsafe place to be ! Lessons for close to 40 years in both sports. Gone too soon, he will be missed by many for all his gifts.

So very sad to miss his celebration of life. He was so good to me as a child. I worked for him at Suburban in the pro shop. He was patient and kind with me. Loved keeping in touch with him through social media. Thinking of you, November and the whole family!
