Both Deha and I almost shaired a birthday and we came to Baltimore at about the same time. We both started our training at the Psychoanalytic Institure in Baltimore and as I was working in the psychiatry services at Hopkins Deha despite her busy practice joined me volunteering time to the clinic, We had fun sharing our impressions about the countries we came from or those we visited., we enjoyed theatres and movies together and the many evenings we spent at each other's home where George initiated me to " Oriental Rugs" I will miss Deha and feel so badely to have seen so little of her in the last few years.She was the most generous,courageous, helpful,and loving human being and I feel lucky to have known but miserable to know she is no longer among us.

Dr. Owen was my neighbor on the 11th floor of Winthrop House. When we moved there five years ago, she was one of the friendliest and welcoming of our neighbors. She invited us in to see her condo and told us about her late husband.
I so admired her for working up to the end of her life so that she could continue seeing her patients. She is an inspiration to me as I grow older to keep active and engaged in life. May God rest her soul.
