Uncle Ed once told me to “get out there” and see the world while I am still young and full of energy. He said that people often put off traveling and other exploration until they retire, when they think they'll have more time, but that once retirement comes, a leisurely lifestyle, one without so much running around, is often preferred or necessitated by other conditions. I've taken his guidance to heart and will think of him fondly as I embark on as many life journeys as I can handle.
